Yes it does. To get a better idea on how McDonald's source and prepare the meat for its burgers, check out the "Where our Food Comes From" section on this website and watch the film of Parents' Panel visit to a supplier's farm, also on this site.
McDonald’s Hamburgers take approximately 42 seconds to cook. The beef patties are cooked between hot plates that cook the patties from both sides - a similar cooking process to the grilling machines that are sold in a variety of kitchenware stores. Its lower cooking surface reaches 177 degrees centigrade, and the top plate reaches 218 degrees centigrade. The clamshell design allows for the burger patty to cook evenly and quickly from both sides. All the food and cooking equipment go through stringent tests to ensure that they represent the best quality in the quickest time. The burger patties themselves are 100 percent beef, no binders, fillers or additives, with a little salt and pepper added after cooking for taste.
