Will the staff have PPE? How did McDonald's get this over the HSE?

In addition to social distancing, we will also provide our employees with face masks. The face masks we are sourcing are not the type needed by medical teams

Will you be offering a full menu?

In order to maintain social distancing, we have fewer employees working. With fewer employees, we are not able to serve our full menu at this time. We will be reviewing this on a continuing basis and will communicate any changes via our website and social media channels.

Will you be accepting cash?

We ask that you use contactless payments.

Will your staff be adhering to social distancing guidelines?

We have put a number of measures in place in our restaurants to enable our staff to work safely. There will be fewer people working and where 2 metre distancing is not always possible we are using perspex screens, marked out working areas and adapting our operations processes, as well as using the closed customer areas for employee breaks. We are introducing additional health checks and training on our enhanced safety procedures. All employees will be provided with face masks and there will be additional use of gloves at key points.

Are mopeds and motorbikes allowed through Drive Thrus?

Yes, we can serve mopeds and motorbikes.

Are bicycles allowed through Drive Thrus?

McDonald's supports the health and environmental benefits of cycling, however it is our practice not to serve cyclists using the drive-thru lane or drive-thru service windows.
